Change Is Good
Change is good, right. At least that is how the old saying goes. Well, maybe change is inevitable but it sometimes doesn’t feel very good when it’s happening. Especially when we are not ready or maybe even not wanting it to happen at all. Yet in life we really don’t get a choice in all things, especially when it comes to aging.
Getting to Choices
Recently I was talking to someone who, in recounting his history with his ex-wife, said that they went to a “shrink” before they got divorced.
He told me the counseling was like a lifeline, yet while it did get them talking, it didn’t save their marriage. It did, however, make that life transition easier.
Get To The Point
When I was going through medical training I went on a month-long journey to Central China and Tibet with a group of fellow students and Qi Gong enthusiasts.
We traveled to many remote monasteries where we studied the philosophy of Taoism and practiced six hours a day of Qi Gong. It was pure heaven for me.
